Total income : 426,848 € divided as follows:

Income : Visitors = 37,5%
Subsidies = 37,5% ( A.C.S.salaries)
Donations = 12,5%
Sale of exhibitions = 12,5% (irregular)

Total expenses : 420,276 € divided as follows :

Expenses : Exhibition + workshops 20%
Administration 5%
Salaries 75%

N.B. : In 1987, the Museum was given the use of the house by the Ixelles administration for a period of 27 years, provided it paid the upkeep
The President of the Museum is a volunteer.
The sales of the exhibitions are irregular.

 
 
How to help the Museum?

The “bricks”

The Museum needs you and your help!

You can support its educational work, the quality of its animations and of its decorations, by buying one or more "bricks" for its  Wall of Honor at the entrance of the Museum.  1250€ for business companies and 625€ for private persons.

All gifts of 30 € or more are tax deductible

Partnerships for the sale of products.


Partnerships or patronage

 Long term partnerships

- Help with the Children’s Museum project as a whole by an annual donation
• Honorary donor = 10.000 €
• Esteem donor = 5.000 €
• Supportive donor = 2.500 €

- Partnership in the sale of products

This is an annual participation of 2,500 € in “Les petits 4 heures” in the Museum. This implies that the Museum sells exclusively the quality products offered by the partner, such as coffee, biscuits, chocolate, snacks…

- Gifts of equipment

• Office equipment
• Building materials
• Hi-fi equipment
• Materials for the workshops

Important remark: all proposals of gifts can be adapted to meet the wishes of the partner.

Occasional partnerships

- Supporting an exhibition

In the framework of the creation and the setting up of the next exhibition  which will open in October 2010, and the total cost of which is estimated at 200,000€ :
- Sponsorship of one of the “chapters” of the new exhibition 
Cost of each chapter: 10,000€ (possibility to pay in three years).
- Sponsorship of one of the “modules” exhibited in the exhibition 
Cost of each “module” between 1,000 and 2,500€

- Partnership in kind
Help with the construction of the exhibitions. 
Gifts of materials: wood, polyester, ropes and cables, large lengths of textiles, etc.

Important note: all proposals of help can be adapted to suit the wishes of the partner

Since 1999, the Children’s Museum has a long-term partnership with SPADEL for the sale of drinks.

 At the time of the opening of the exhibition “Hello Change!” the Museum received generous help from several sponsors:

- as occasional partners, the companies GSK, LHOIST, DELOITTE, DELHAIZE and
